Since Thanksgiving offers an opportunity for reflection, we asked our employees what they’re thankful for in the workplace. We found they’re most grateful for coworkers who foster a positive company culture, contribute to high-quality products, and give back to the community. Employees are also thankful for our clients, who help us tackle projects that have a positive impact on the world.
“I am thankful for the people here at Nexight. It’s great to be surrounded by a team of smart people with diverse interests and skills, where everyone is able to contribute in their own unique way. People are always available to help you out, and it makes for a very positive working environment. It’s a product of both the size of the company and quality of staff here. Waking up for work each morning is very easy, knowing I’m coming to a place I enjoy.” – Jack Holmes, Research Analyst
“I’m thankful for my smart, engaged, informed, and interesting colleagues. The people I work with day after day or on individual projects are dedicated, constructive, and creative, and make coming to work and working through client challenges both intellectually stimulating and rewarding. I learn something new every day that helps me grow, whether it is about a different approach, a specific skill, or a fun fact about my coworkers.” – Kendra Chappell, Program Manager
“I’m thankful for all of the people I get to work with every day. Whether I’m spending the day with clients or my Nexight family, I know the people I’ll be working with are smart, passionate about their mission, and understand that some of the best solutions come from collaboration. It’s the people I get to interact with throughout my day that makes coming to work always enjoyable.” – Patrick White, Program Manager
“I am thankful for Nexight’s clients and the work we do for them. We serve smart, driven, passionate people who are trying to make the world better through their work. It is an honor to work side-by-side with them to improve the resiliency of our nation’s infrastructure, develop new materials and manufacturing technologies, and modernize the electric grid. The work we do is interesting and impactful; I am grateful to be part of it.” – Ross Brindle, CEO
We wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and hope you have a lot to be grateful for this holiday season. We know we do.
